Implement the Widget Guide

Integrate the In-Checkout Widget with a few snippets of client-side code. These drop-in code snippets use your public API key to enable a protection contract and dynamically display an accurate quote to your customers.

The widget provides callback functions to identify when a user makes a selection, such as opting-in or opting-out of protection. Additional utility callbacks are available so that you can subscribe to different lifecycle events and streamline your integration.

To complete an optimal integration, we also provide a number of configuration options and helper methods that allow you to facilitate different use cases, optimize your customer journey, and drive more conversions.

Rendering the Widget

The following steps walk through how to add the various elements needed to render the widget on your checkout page. This process consists of:

  1. Adding the JavaScript library
  2. Adding the HTML placeholder
  3. Configuring the widget
