Policy Downgrade - *Required

The Policy Downgrade Notification is Required if the ticketing platform allows a consumer to downgrade their ticket.

As a developer of a ticketing platform, I need the ability to set a notification that alerts me each time a policy is downgraded, so I know the customer needs to be refunded the difference in the protection cost.

As a ticketing platform collecting the cost of Refund Protection on behalf of Teak, each time a customer downgrades their protection, the ticketing platform must refund the customer the difference between the original protection cost and the downgraded protection cost.

Acceptance Criteria:

  1. Subscribe to the Policy Downgrade Notification in the Client Dashboard
    1. Teak Dashboard > Notifications
  2. The preferred method is Webhook, but an Email notification works as well.
  3. Verify that when a Policy is “Downgraded”, the notification is triggered, and the ticketing platform is alerted.
  4. Ask a Teak Team member, to help downgrade a policy for testing purposes.

Expected Outcome:

  1. The ticketing platform is alerted when a policy is downgraded.
