New: TeakOS

A new way to integrate Teak, with TeakOS. The TeakOS Widget saves the quote and the customer's choice to Teak as they go, in a session. When checkout completes, your server submits only the session ID, your order number, and the customer, with Submit an order.

  • The widget loads from https://icw.helloteak.com/teak.js, renders in <teak-widget>, and uses the teak global.
  • The API's base URL is https://api.helloteak.com/v1, or https://api.sandbox.helloteak.com/v1 in sandbox. The Legacy API's base URL keeps working.
  • Submit returns 202 Accepted, or 204 No Content when the customer didn't opt in. Contract numbers arrive in the Contract Issued webhook.
  • Call teak('clearSession') after checkout completes.
  • New errors for sessions, listed in the Submit an order reference.

New integrations: follow the TeakOS integration guide, or start from the example apps in Node.js or Python.

Live on the Legacy API: nothing changes until you migrate. Your Legacy API integration keeps working, and both flows can run on your account at the same time. See Migrate from the Legacy API. The Legacy API docs stay available: choose Legacy API in the version menu.
